I fangirl Godot way too much, and this picture cheered me up immensely. See, backstory to this is that I was really depressed today. A friend of mine, whom I love dearly, got himself a girl three days before I was planning on working up the courage to tell him how I felt about him. Well, I got all emo about it and wandered around Court Records, the Phoenix Wright forum.
I had nearly forgotten about Naked EdgeWright Icon Day! I had to do something. I whipped this up in about 45 minutes worth of pencil work this morning, and I scanned it a few minutes ago. It's too large for an icon, but I began to smile while drawing, and by the time I finished it, I was giggling at the crack I'd created. The expression is directly from the sprites. Heh, I went digging for the sprite sheet to find that particular expression. So, instead of emo Silvy, you get cheered up Silvy and Godot beefcake. Win/win so far as I'm concerned. Excuse the picture quality, my scanner is new and it picked up all the pencil debris. Yes, there are Javado Beckett references, because by the end of my drawing period, I had a little Godot muse on my shoulder, sipping coffee and whispering in my ear with a voice that sounded uncannily like Ricardo Montalban. |

And I'm actually from Court Records.. At least you got a Naked Edgewright icon for the day, all I managed to do was draw a shirtless Max Galactica and put it up here on DevArt. *cough* I never did get around to making my icon/siggies for the holiday.
You're welcome! Couldn't help it when the picture gave me giggles at thinking of Godot as a shirtless coffee cowboy.
